When buying vintage hair dryers you should know they are not considered safe for use. If you want an old fashioned dryer that can be used, consider a brand new bonnet style dryer. With a bonnet dryer you can sit under the hood while your hair is dried. This is great for women with arthritis and other problems that may make it hard to hold a hair dryer for extended periods of time. Also, bonnet style dryers are perfect for heat setting your curls. If you are the owner of an old-fashioned hair dryer you may wonder what it is worth on the antique market. This all depends on the age, brand and condition of the item and requires market research.
